Val's Auto in Round Lake Beach. The tuner is Steve (dark horse). It was a great time. I know I netted a few more horses and a little better air/fuel ratio. Steve also helped a few other stangs with their tune. Here's the footage. I don't know how long before YouTube mutes the videos. (trademarked music). I have a back up file saved if I need to re-upload it without music, so I can at least show the exhaust sound.
I didn't think the dyno graph's were very visible so I added captioning to bring out the max hp and tq numbers.

Steve, great work on the camera. Hes like the news media. Taking shots of everything and everyone just waiting for more shots. Whats amazing is how well the car runs for a 100,000+ mile car with a power adder.
Dark Horse made power on everyones car except mine. I have faith in you Dark Horse. LOL Long story short there are no dyno numbers because the car would not work with us. The tune in the car has many fail safes installed. At one point we tried to run past 6,000rpm to get a good pull and the ECM threw on the rear brakes litterally filling the shop with smoke. The ECM will not allow anything above 5,800-6,000rpm in any gear. We are currently reviewing a SCT tune to eliminate alot of the fail safes. I understand they warranty the car as is but this is to much. Its like giving me a 425hp car and telling me to drive it like a Toyota Prius. Now for the numbers because thats why I was at the dyno twice already. It laid down 330hp at the wheels in a 92 degree shop before we were shut down by the ECM. This pull was done about a two weeks ago. We could not get a good pull this time around. Yesterday we verified what I thought I was seeing at the track and on the dyno.
Now for the facts a 07 GT automatic lays down about 252HP and 238TQ at the wheels bone stock. When you look at 330hp at the wheels we gained about 78hp at the wheels which isnt bad for a 6lb. kit. Now I have talked to guys at Shelby and Ford Racing and they admitted to the tune being overally safe. A better tune would net 20-30hp more and would liven the car up but they would not honor the warranty on the car. So I ask would you leave it alone or get greedy for more HP? Comments???

I would say unless you really want the warranty factor and keep it official then get the custom sct tune, you know you will thank yourself in the end...unless it blows up, lol

I think you know what I'm gonna say...MORE POWER! I'm sure that if anything would happen, you could sweet talk the guys at Victor into taking care of it for you!

I'll fall right in line with the others that replied...go for more power! 330 is barely a tease for what you put in the car.

I would really do my homework before I would push the limit. You have alot invested in your ride to find out the hard way. Unless you have deep
pockets and are a gambling ma.

Now if someone told you to drive it like my wife drives her Prius, you'd be a madman!!! She thinks her name is Danica. It comes from her motorcycle days :catwoman:

Just an update we are currently working with FRPP and fixing some "issues" with the tune.

it'll be cool to see that when you get past that tuning stuff. i think it was mot that was saying he might potentially have another shelby gt coming with. i'm sure it'll be beneficial for many to see whats nessesary to get by the ford racing tune/computer stuff.
