OK everyone lets have a X-mas PARTY! This is what I'm planning. Grillworks in Buffalo Grove,IL . Its a cool sports bar and lots of other stuff to do there after we eat. The 21st would probably work for me. Don't know when I'm supposed to do all the xmas stuff, but usually around the 25th, so I should be fine.

Ok guys its official! The 1st windycitystangs x-mas party will be held on Sun Dec 21 @ 1pm at GrillWorks in Buffalo Grove. Reservations for this event have been made under windycitystangs, so be sure to ask where we are seated if you can't find us. This event WILL take place reguardless of the weather and remember you DON"T have to bring you Mustang to attend. It's going to be a blast. C-ya all there.:banana:

Also ShowCar Detail is donating some detail supplies that we will raffle off. Going to sell raffle tickets for $5 each to help the cost of the site. So Post in the poll if your interested in the raffle too. Just trying to get some decent numbers to figure out where we stand.

Just heard an updated weather forecast. The wind chill will be -30 and winds will create white out conditions. The worst will be in the morning so they are recommending people to stay home in the morning.

OK everyone today is the day!!! Its cold but its not SNOWING!! Me and Larry have already been out this morning and its cold and there is some drifting snow but overall its not that bad. Just go slow, take your time and just leave a little earlier than you would and you'll be fine. See you all there its going to fun.

I'm out.....truck started very well all things considered BUT my wiper washer things are frozen and I can't get them thawed out yet. Streets by me north n south roads still icey. THIS SUCKS!!!!!

Just got back from the x-mas party and it sure was great to meet my fellow Windycitystangers and see Dan again.
One patron was curious about our group and came over.
As it turned out,he is a Mustang owner too.
Dan gave him one of our cards so I sure hopes he joins our group!
Must thank Joanna for putting together the event, she has some nice ideas for future G2G's too!
