My existing hood is blistering for the second time. It is duet to a metal reaction from the aluminumn to airborn iron. It causes the paint to blister.
It was fixed once by Ford and it has come back again and they wont cover it.
I am going with a cervini fiberglass hood soon. I am getting a 1166. I want to keep my existing stripe design so I have to get a scoop design that will work with it.

Nice looking hood... I just went with the 1181, and love it so far. had a few minor issues with the shipper, but I think they will get that fixed ASAP so you should have no fears.
Just be sure to Picture anything that looks odd and send to them if there is a problem. They will take care of you/it as they did for me.
