My wife asked me to see if anyone has a general idea how much this car should go for. Her old Boss has a 2002 Ford Mustang GT Convertible in Red. The car has low miles, 12K, and has been sitting in Florida in a Garage since purchased new. Rarely used, but serviced regularly.
Knowing her Boss, this thing is Clean...
I'm not sure if he's going to have it shipped to Illinois or sell it from his Florida home, but just curious what you guys would think something like this could fetch??
Also where is the best place to advertise a car like this for sale? EBay Motors, Mustang sales Papers? Tips and advise is appreciated.

Sorry if this is in wrong spot, please move if you must :)

I just saw one at a dealer with 20xxx miles and they where asking 12300 i would think it could sell privately around 9-11 thousand. craigslist is another good place to sell.

Thanks for the info. I was thinking about the same price. Granted I've not see the car personally, so you can never be sure.
I know there is a Mustang Only Sales Paper that is often FREE or Cheap at gas stations. Does anyone know the name of this thing?
Thanks

I think Craigslist is a great place to start after checking KBB and Edmunds to come up with an asking price. It's free first and foremost plus you can also use it to gauge prices throughout the country to decide the best place to sell. From what I've seen there I'd guess an 02 GT Vert is probably in the $10-11k range but the low miles might fetch a higher price. Just be careful about listing it for too low of a price as you have no where to negotiate to but down.

I found my car on craigslist. I also lived on cars.com for almost a year hunting for my car.
I'll try to figure out the name of that magazine for you, I know Josh looks at it whenever we're at a gas station.
