Need some prayers please.

Today.....wow today my Mom almost died. She is in ICU at Good Sam's in DG. I got a call at work from the ER that my mom was brought there for a heart problem. When the parametics got here, her blood pressure dropped to 16! Holy CRAP. Cardia Surgeon had to put on a temporary pacemaker and may have to do a permanent one on Monday.

Ramona is a sweet lil ole Lady...keep her in your prayers until she comes home please. I thank God every day I have her with me. And no...I am the only child here-brother in CA and no...he's not on a plane to be here. He should be.

Thanks...OH....I should be able to still come to Dinner tomorrow unless something bad happens. I will be there most of the day.

I will not be at the car show Sunday.

I have some good news. Her heart is beating on her own this afternoon, so the temp pacemaker gets removed tomorrow then she is still kept in ICU for monitoring. Thank you God for the Blessings of my day and letting me have Ramona another day.:)

Sniff sniff....THANK YOU...this is tough. I'll see her tomorrow and talk to cardiologists. Maybe I can come up to the show for a bit and see all the pretty rides!

News isn't as good today. We thought maybe she might not need the pacemaker, however last night was a different story. So...... we wait.

Don't let the pacemaker worry you. My uncle has had one over 30 years. He goes back every 10 years or so for a new battery!

Thx Jerry.....I'm feeling a bit better after hearing that. Some other people said they have a family member with one. I'm just concerned of course, she's in ICU and very uncomfortable today.

We found out her cardiologist may have lost privilidges at CDH and they told her they are now her doctors and not to return to the other.YIKES! So she was receiving sub standard care before....

I was blessed to have my Mom around for almost 2 decades and I used that time to ask about friends and family, show her how special she is, and to cherrish the times we spend together.

For sure Andy...for sure. I am lucky everyday she is with me.:) You know what I am going through. God willing, she'll have many more good quality years to share. The sad part is everyone...well most everyone she loved has died. Imagine how that feels? I try, but I realize I am not her "best friend" nor her sister or Aunt. So we just make the best of what we have.:)
