T-Shirts help promote [Archive]

Ok so I decided to see what I could do about a tshirt to help promote as well.
So Attached is what I came up with Name on the front photo on the back. I ordered a couple test ones to make sure they come out ok, and as long as they do let me know if you'd be interested and we can look at getting some ordered up in a few weeks. I will post actual shirt pics once I get them

The cost would be as follows
$18 White Shirt S,M,L,XL

+$2 Size XXL
+$2 Grey Shirt
+$5 Black Shirt

So the most expensive will be a XXL Black shirt at $25

Post up if you might be interested

Maybe Ginos or Uno in Schaumburg area? Maybe on a Sunday because I have overtime in December.

if the site was in the positive where we could afford to do more for the members then maybe, but seeing that startup costs usually put any new thing in the negative right away, if you want one your gonna have to pay for it :bat:

OK so I got the test t-shirts I ordered today, the white looks fine so grey should be good too. I have to modify the black a little to make the lettering stand out more, and such, but other then that I think we are good.

So if you want a shirt post up color and size and how many of each if you want more then one, and I'll get a count.
Then figure out payment and get them made.

I wanted to get black...but if the car doesn't look right on it??? I'll defiantely take an XL but maybe in white of black isn't looking good? Keep me posted on the black. I'm in regardless...: ) And thanks for doing this Dan.

When I did it there is a drop shadow around the image of the car, so it has some transparent parts, which looks fine on the white. After I ordered I read the part they mention on black shirts they put a layer of white down first so transparent parts don't look right, thus there is almost a white border around it. And the photos don't show it but actually the lettering is barely visible on the black. I have already updated the graphics to take this stuff into account and when I order the black ones they will be different. Did actually put a white border around the lettering to make it stand out and changed the color. So black should be better now.

Yea if your coming to the party I can collect the money there. I can take paypal as well but prefer that be a last method.
So as far as payment whomever is coming to the holiday thing on the 21st I can take funds there, other then that I'll figure something out once I get a more solid number of people who want them.

Just an update the shirts aren't gone. I am just waiting to check on some local places to see if they can make them cheaper, and I've been lazy at checking. So we will see shirts. I'll post more price details once I know for sure.

Well I decided to try and not be lazy, so I called about 6 local places that do screen printing, and every one said they do not have the capabilities to do digital (something with a photo) So I would have to make the shirt very basic, which I really don't want to do.
So gonna go with the online place. So if your info is not in the first thread for a shirt and you want one post up and I'll give it a week or so then place the order.

ok well not too many people for shirts but I'm gonna go ahead and order. If you want to use paypal go ahead and just paypal the money to donate@windycitystangs.com for the address.

Once I get the funds I will order them up and figure out how to get them to you guys. Last chance if anyone not listed in post #1 wants one.
I'm sure once we get new members we may do another order or if I decide to work on my photoshop skills and design another one :)

I got the tshirt order today, the changes I made do look way better for the black shirt then before. Attached is a pic, and the flash makes the pic look faded but its not. The WCS name is alot easier to read and stands out way better now. Its still on the front of the shirt as well this is just a pic of the back.

I'll bring the shirts to meets etc, until I get them handed out, and if your going to something I am PM me a reminder to bring em.

Now that the graphics are finalized its easy to re-order so if more people decide they want one.

But any chance getting it in something "girlier" than a plain old t-shirt?

How about hoodies or maybe a different color (blue to match my car??)

Does the online site you used have a lot of choices or is it just tshirts?

I just ordered some tonight, doh! They don't have too many options for clothing, they have a ton of other promotional stuff but mainly shirts for cloths, they do have long sleeve but cost goes up even more.

the place I use is high quality full color and they only have the 3 options for shirts, some of the other sites are real sticklers about anything that may even be close to a brand and wont print it
