:drive:I just rec'd the K&N CAI and I don't want my husband to install it cuz it's not his car and he won't take the care that I would, however I need some assistance. I need an experienced partner in crime with tools and about 30 minutes to help me install this thing. Any suggestions???

It not hard you should be able to do it on your own with instructions but if you like a helping hand I could help

I have the same kit. I would help if was in your area. It is pretty strightforward. Just make sure the hose clamp to throttle body is tightened securely. Check it once in a while. Mine was loose after I had installed it after a month. Good Luck

CAI is done. Now I'll have to schedule for a dual exhaust installation. That way I'll sound as cool as The Red Baron!

I started it, and my husband came home and we did it together. I was glad he helped. His hands and strength are much better then mine. I couldn't have tightened everything properly without him.

Ditto. And you'll find upgrading the tune is even easier...no tools needed!
