out with the old and in with the new. starting on sunday i will be taking out the 347 and putting in a 408 N/A set up. im looking to make around 500+. ill post up picts and info here as it gets built. i will also be cleaning up the engine bay and going to a carb set up. the shortblock will be about a month and a half away, but i will have a lot of work to do to get it ready. im pondering about the a/c if i should reinstall or not. this should be a fun car to drive once done.

good luck with the build, as far as AC if you got a daily I say leave it out, just don't drive it on hot days, I'm sure that engine will heat the car up even more the sun alone so wouldn't want to be driving with no AC on a 100 degree day

Just got the k. I had everything else. From what i have read they have better quality then a lot of others. I had a qa1 in my 96 but it was ok.

not too much to show.. i got the trans all done and wired up, and the drivers side a arm installed, painted the sway bar and installed, installed the new throttle cable, carb, and throttle plate. also hid all of the wiring, except the alt is not finished yet. i just put it there to see how everything cleared. i have to put a small dent in the valve cover so the alt will install 100% . also got the disst put in and set the timing.

next to do is remove the blue vacc line off the boster and replace it, finish up the fuel lines, install the pass side a arm, and get it on the ground.

Hello Green Hornet, You said that the font suspension was a QA1 in your 96 supercharged GT? If your name is Al then I have your old car. I need to replace the frt lower control arm and can't find a name on the parts. also, could you tell me a little about what is done to the motor? Thanks.
