Don't you still owe your mom $1000's for the mustang?

Just make sure wherever you have do the work does a good job. My friend Dan when he had his gto had similar mods done at speed inc and had nothing but problems and they did some things that they blamed on him after the fact. But thats just one persons experience and I know every shop has good and bad.

She is still getting her monthly payment until we sell it.

Saw a guy at Ed Napelton Dodge with a 2004 435hp GTO and his Pacesetters at sweet.
They worked out the bugs with their headers. Version 2 are way better and our cheap. The reason the first gen got a bad wrap was they were linked to starting fires in the cars. There has not been any reports of their new style headers doing that. So when you here people say dont get them its because they are thinking of the old model. Also you need headers when you do any mods like a Cam. But thanks.

John, while that seems decent for all of the Bolt-ons and the H/C cam package, why haven't you thought about rear end upgrades? If a Stock 6.0 GTO can break it's rear end at the track, I have no doubts that a Cammed GTO with Heads and other bolt ons will do even worse. Just my .02
I'm hold off on the headers as Ryan said.

I have spoken with Many GM experts and the rear end on an auto is not that big of deal until you mess with the gears. And Yes I have thought about rear end upgrades and $2000.00 just for a drive shaft and CV Shaft is crazy. I will post up my Final combo within a week once I decide. Could be as early as today, as I am talking with 3 shops on getting a deal. At this time Speed Inc is out of the running.

just the cv shaft are "only" $500 each from speed. My buddy dave said they be easy to put in.
I must not understand something Auto > Manual, STOCK manual breaks one, but upgraded Auto doesn’t need it.
P.S. before they got his warranty thing figured out, they said it was going to cost him $1,400 to repair the one cv shaft with another sucky stock one. And the car was down for 2 weeks because the parts had to be shipped from Australia.
John we are trying to save you grief later on, better safe then sorry

I hear ya. lol. I am working out the best solution for the car with the money I have right now. It may end a show car with Chin Spoiler and Visual Mods, Headers Exhaust Cai and tune. I think I am holding off on Cam and heads until next year. However I may do the CV's if I have enough left.

I would take care of the Rear end and or suspension. Then everything you do you can take advantage of

Again John, give that some thought. Even if this will be more of a show car, it is still important to replace the weakest links in the car. Good luck!

Take care of it all and I'll remind you what Mustang tail lights look like.

John- Crazyhorse does have an 03 Cobra. Even with bolt-ons, his Cobra will still be a match for your GTO, without the Pulley swap. He also has a Roush 427R with a Built Motor. LOL Just FYI.
Good idea on the rear end mods. That is at least something to start with.

LOL.
But if Crazyhorse's cars aren't black, they don't stand a chance against the black GTO:poke:

I know you are a Mustang guy....I know you.
So what do you think your car will be putting to the wheels after phase 1 and then in two years?
I need a plan to stay ahead!:transform:

I need a plan to stay ahead!:transform:. Well option 1 I have in the works has me doing 400 at the wheels for this year. The other option has me doing around 425 at the wheels. Its just a matter of money right now. BY the end of next year I should be at 450-475 at the wheels. I hope.
