I am getting a CPFD04AUX3.5 2005-2010 Ford CAN-Bus Auxiliary Input Converter (http://www.logjamelectronics.com/cpfd04aux35.html) for Christmas. I am not sure how to remove the stereo. any help would be appreciated.

you have to remove the 2 screws under the arm rest, then remove the shifter cover and remove the top half of the center console, then pull out the two sides pieces and then you will be able to remove the radio

True - much more difficult than one would think. But then you have to try to get around the AC controls! They're really in there, and in the way.

Great link Steve!!! The video shows how I took apart my radio trim area when I added an extra Ipod jack to the inside of the passenger side trim piece so I can have my Ipod holder in one neat package.
I can attest to the fact the video is "on the mark!"
