I fell at my Dealer in December when I dropped off the Escape for the remote start install. We had that ice storm the week before that's why I did not have it done then> and evidently they did not salt the West end of the lot according to the receptionist. I work next door,, my lot was absolutely FINE cuz I am extremely careful.
I took one step off the side walk directly in front of the showroom..and it was a sheet of ice under 2" of snow! I fell not once but twice and a third on my knees. The results are in...fractured pelvic bone! Damn it. No wonder I hurt like hell.
I don't want to file a suit, you always have that you are partly responsible crap and I want to keep my business relationship with them. But damn..it hurts sitting all day at work. Please let me sit on a fracture....I'm on pain meds now and it still hurts tonight
RANT..thanks just pissed

Hi...how are you?
You know how you get that adrenalin rush in times of need? LOL Well as I was falling, I swear, I managed to twist to the non surgical side otherwise $150K+ out the window!! Hell yeah scary.
Surgeon says it doesn't warrant surgery, not going to cast a hip, they'd pin it. It needs to heal on it's own..
Hey hows the ride? You get a second car or driving Stang this Winter?

Well WCS that cheered me up...just down about this. HAD to take the pain meds at work...it was a solid 7 on 10 scale. I just couldn't take it anymore. : (
I have filed a claim with their property insurance, there is $5K in Premises Medical and at this rate that money will go fast! Thats no fault dollars BUT if they even try and dispute the fall...that would be insane. But stuff happens.
Anything more than $5K and it goes to a Liability claim-that I need counsel. Fractures can be life long pain...arthritis typically sets in. I do not know what to do here. It would suck not being able to go there for any work I need...it's right next door to work.
I'm researching this....I have two years to decide.
