hey guys heres an email i got from mike at gld...


I apologize for sending you two newsletters in one day... but I come bearing great news!

I have just been told that within the last couple of hours, the County of Racine has finished their re-paving work on Highways KR and 45. Highway KR, the main route that our racers & fans take coming from
I-94, is now completely re-paved on both sides and is open for full travel again.

Taking alternate routes for nearly a month was a pain... but hitting literally 50 potholes every time I went to GLD for the last many years was much worse! Highway 45 is reportedly fully paved and open again as well. This is great news for all of us who come to the legendary Great Lakes Dragaway...

Note that Highway 142 is still closed and will be for a very long time.

For those who read the letter about Buick, Oldsmobile and Pontiac day I sent out earlier, I also was informed by Dyno Dom Blasco that the Midwest Gassers will be in the house on Sunday! For more info see http://www.greatlakesdragaway.com
