Always wanted to go to one of these...I'll need to get my Mustang done by then. Maybe I would start the next phase of my Mustang if it was warmer and it would stop snowing.

Been thinking of doing part of one of these for a few years but the stars never quite aligned. Last year on the rainy day for the Power Tour's trip to Wisconsin on 94, I drove to the Tollway Oasis near Rt 60 since I work just near there and watched the Tour drive under the Oasis (at least those that were not already stopping there for lunch or gas).

I wanted to bring this up as its coming closer. I am thinking of a cruise for the club up to the Power Tour in Racine. I was thinking that we would start at Gurnee Mills and then head up Rt 45 into Wisconsin to Rt 50, eat an early lunch at the Brat Stop and then continue on to Racine. If we want to participate it will cost each member $25 for that one day and we will pay when we get there. Do we want to participate or do we want to just park close by and wander in?

Can I suggest an alternate lunch stop? Charcoal Grill and Rotisserie on Hwy 50 in Kenosha (just like 5-10 minutes off the highway). I kinda lived up in that area for like 2 years and well let's just say I was told many times to NOT go to the Brat Stop because it wasn't a place for a "delicate" person like me!! :)

otherwise sounds like fun!

As long as weather is nice that day and something doesnt come up I'm definatly interested in this tour. Would love to do the entire thing but just can't spare the time off work etc.

I was pretty close to commit to go on the power tour this year but since Mustang Club of America Car Show was soo close to us this year, I opted out.
I'll be here.....
