I spent a good part of the day today, volunteering at the Traveling Vietnam Wall memorial they had at Village Green Park in Northbrook. It is a smaller scale version of the full sized wall in DC. 80% of the original size with over 58,000 names. They had a name finder service on site so people could easily track the member's name they were looking for. There were monuments to all conflicts, not only Vietnam.

There was a ceremony in the morning where they placed a wreath and the Legion Riders came in.

I was just thinking about the moveable wall-so glad you were there! I visited when it was in Wheaton a few years ago...quite an experience indeed. Remember our fallen and bless the men and women serving this country - always.

It's nice to see that the memory of every person that fought and died for this country lives on and is truely remembered.
