They say they are going to sue me and that I misunderstood them. I do believe there is
miscommunication-for sure. But FACT they still have an F BBB rating and there were postings from two others
who have not received their parts from last year. Perhaps those orders crashed when they had
a hard drive failure.

whatever...I do not know internet law. I do know that they did beautiful work and I have
said that before and at many car shows recommended then. So let this now be MY
disclaimer and hopefully get this resolved. My guess is all communication should
be with him and not his sales staff-wife. Thats when things get confusing

Must be related to Unique Performance, the douches that ripped people off on their Eleanor clones a few years back.

Sorry for your issues Shar. Nothing worse than being ripped off.

ripoffreport.com is a good way to get things moving. for some reason i've found it more effective that filing a complaint with the bbb when I've used it on local Chicago businesses. basically, you post a report about what happened. this report cannot be taken down once it's posted and a lot of people read these. all the business can do is write a rebuttal to your statement and they either 1)write a rebuttal claiming why they think they are write but they won't do that unless you are being completely unreasonable which you aren't or 2)make right with you and give you what you need to shut you up.
you can also add onto your report as often as you want as the story progresses. the guy who runs the site, this is his life to take down companies that screw people over.
i know here in chicago the better business bureau is somewhat of a joke. business is so corrupt here. but using ripoffreport.com got me real nice results. to get to take these fuggers by the balls and force their asses to give you what they should have in the beginning.
the manager of the last business i used them for even admitted the owner wouldn't of even done anything until he saw a significant drop in profit at the store as a result of my post at ripoffreport.com. they ended up giving me what i want and even asked me to take the post down but as i stated above, a post cannot be deleted but i made a new post saying they satisfied my needs when they paid me back. the loss of business + them eventually paying me back was such savory ripoff revenge!
stick it to them!

from my experience i can suggest that every time you make an action, you post it on the report. with all the things that go into trying to get paid back or get what you ordered from these people it is easy to forget all the things you do. and it only makes them look more like crap as the list of things compiles and they still haven't done what they need to.
the people from the site try to contact the business and they also get the media involved depending on the situation. whatever is necessary to pressure the owner into giving you what you paid for to begin with. it has gotten to that point where you have to force these idiots just to do business the right way. it's funny too, because i have had these problems with places that really are reputable, word of mouth, sponsors of site ect BUT when it comes time for me to make a purchase i'm the one who gets screwed. thats they excuse these pieces of crap will use too. "well, we have hundreds of satisfied customers." well do they really? do every one of those customers hold you to the standards you advertise and do they know any better? and maybe those customers are indeed satisfied but it doesn't mean you were done right by, solely because a hundred other people were. the accumulation of these ripoffreports will warn others before they buy since, even though the report can be closed, it still remains posted forever.

Some sites have created a blacklist of Vendors. I am not saying this site do that, I am just saying maybe a running list of places known for Shady dealings be made.

i like that idea. i also like how proactive certain members are at fighting scammers like on SVTP. that makes for good entertainment too. i like seeing people who do bad business get screwed.

Not if we can be sued for saying it. on the forums or on ripoffreport? if it's true and you have proof than what's the difference?

The old emails are no longer on my computer. When I shipped the faulty fuel rail covers, his wife said
I should send the Plenium back so I could have a matched set. The plenium is perfect, why should I pay
to have the strut tower removed and tear it down again and I told her that, wasn't going to
do that expense. He should be able to match from the fuel rails covers, that makes total sense no big
deal. That was October and no mention of the plenium "non issue" again until NOW. He says I breached
the "contract"...we had no contract if there was no meeting of the minds. Furthermore he has no 2 year warranty
????? And the Facebook is not their company Facebook so my messages didn't count there...funny, we did discuss
my parts on it several times.

So I do not have a "contract", but they accepted the parts for repair which I will not get back unless I pay
for the shipping of the AS IS parts-never repaired as I understand they were done and ready to ship in March

PLEASE....i am so done
