Looking for Current or Past Owners of Special Edition Mustangs sold from Lee's Summit Ford in Lee’s Summit Missouri from 1982 through 1989 called the Dominator GT.

We are working on a Registry of the cars and would like to collect as much information as possible on them.

I have three specific items of interest:

Anyone knowing of a copy of Summit Ford's Dominator Mustang Television Commercial

The location of a supposed 82 Dominator GT autographed by Jackie Stewart

The location of my old car, and 1985 Black T-Top Dominator GT with Silver Pin Striping gone wild!

Here is a picture of it:
see attached

If you know of anyone who owns one or owned one, please have them email me at bluesfannoz@yahoo.com

Thanks
Steve

To locate your old car..... if you have anything that has its old VIN #, get that and then run a CARFAX on it. That's how I found out info on my previous stangs! CARFAX registers all title changes. Hope that helps.

Hey thanks. Already been down that route. Problem is that I know the car was last titled in Missouri. But due to privacy laws. Missouri won't tell me who it was titled too. Thanks though for responding. Thats a good idea for anyone trying to track down an old car.

have you tried running an oasis. Have the Ford Svc. dept of a local ford dealer run the oasis and that should tell you who the owner is. You will need the complete vin#

Only problem is being so old they might now have any history on it and that is also only if the person took it into a ford dealer for service work

Yes they did. It was a pretty cool car. Only a couple of them made. A company called Wings West also sold a Dominator spoiler package. Neither of those are related to these cars.

They were a dealer addition package... similar to the Saleen or Solomon American Predator packages.

To quote Mark Spence from an 1984 Super Ford Magazine article entitled "the dominator!"

"The Dominator is available in three different packages-ranging from
225 horsepower to over 400 horsepower. Dominator package I being slightly
warmed up from stock with a set of tuned Hooker Headers and a ram air set up
adding about 20 horsepower of the stock GT. Dominator II is a little more
for your money with modifications to engine to push horsepower over 300.
For the all out version, Dominator III, you get a balanced and blueprinted,
roller cammed 302."

Dominator III's were pure race cars.

Found a few more over the last few weeks thanks to bumping my posts around the midwest. So if you saw one of these cars this past summer let me know!

We had reunion for the Dominators in August. Here is a picture from the Reunion
