I think I know what happened now. I looked today and saw this 1.5" dent in my hood of the Escape...I'm like what the HELL! I live in a condo and when we have snow all cars must be removed from the driveways so they can plow. I have a garage, but Stang is in it.
Plowing is done in the middle of the night. We have some small 4 space lots scattered. I could not park behind my condo cuz two idiots took 2 spots...there was one across the street, but it wasn't plowed and had at least 8 inches of snow, I pulled in and sunk the car in....decided against that because ice was coming down. So I parked in a lot 2 buildings down...the spot had been shoveled it was the only one left. Red flag went up when I saw it was shoveled BUT the maintanence company is SUPPOSED to do those lots so maybe they did it.
This must be why I have a dent....while these spaces are not assigned, someone must this spot and think it is his OWN! I'm going to find out who uses it. Looks like he took a edge of a shovel and hit the hood of my car...you can see it is a new car, no plates on it. Sure pissed someone off, but I didn't deserve that...no one deserved that. I do not have the money to pay for the repair...sure would like to find the SOB
We do have a street right next to my unit that is NOT dedicated to the city maybe I can park my car there next time. We have no overnight parking ordinance on streets...but if it is considered PRIVATE property and I'm thinking it is I might be OK with that.
I have this lady upstairs...she is just like Mrs. Kravitz on the old Bewitched TV show...she's a nosy busy body. She doesn't know about the dent yet, but she told me I should get my Stang outta here and rent a storage space! Sure..if she pays for it I will. Damn it!
I am soooooo pissed. I'm half tempted to report it to the police except I cannot PROVE it happened there, I did not see it. I may post signs on the other buildings asking if anyone saw anything to contact me.
It sure as hell didn't happen at the dealer and this scenerio makes much more sense to me.
