For a BRIEF moment, I considered selling the Mach as well as all the others and buying a GT-H! Rented a coupe in '06 in Vegas and took it to the Shelby plant and the tech that built the car came out and took off the traction control for me. Then took it to a parking lot across from the Vegas Speedway. Then rented a vert in '07 and drove to Phoenix to see a Cubs game. LOVED IT! I have some vid's and pictures that I should probably post some time.
Anyways...welcome to the site! Can't wait to see the GT-H as well as the Gold GT/CS! Gotta love the gold!

Hello all, and thanks for the welcome. Attached are pics. I have been collecting for about 10 years. The GT-H I just bought for my birthday on Dec 20 - picked it up from dealer in Dallas and drove it home to Crystal Lake. Dealer got it at auction - it originally came from Hawaii. I am treated as first owner by Shelby and got a very nice package from them (signed dash plaque, etc).
Both my GT/CS and '66 have been in Mustang Times Magazine. The GT/CS was a cover car of Mustang Times Magazine and also featured in Legendary Fords Magazine. The GT/CS was also a featured show car in the 2008 Barrington Concours de'Elegance as one of the "world's 100 most rare cars" at the Arlington Race Course.
My 36 project is chopped 6 inches and channeled 7 inches. You can see from the pics that we are almost ready for paint. Nice '39 flathead with vintage heads and intake.
The '00GT convertible is my son's daily driver. The Shelby GT-H is my daily driver - snow, salt, rain, sun.....:burnout:
Thanks, Casey

Here are the rest of the pics. The cartoon is the "Rat Fink" - this was specially commissioned artwork of my GT/CS by the famous Johnny Ace who worked for Ed Roth before he died. Casey

Great cars, I love the GT-H for the newer models. I actually would like to get the hood and bumber replaced on my car with the GT-H ones at some point.

Thanks for the welcome. I meant to mention that the GT/CS has been signed by Carroll Shelby, Lee Iaccoca and Lee Grey (the 3 responsible for the GT/CS). Lee Grey is not known to most - he was the Ford regional manager for all CA in the 60's - by far, the highest selling market for the Mustang. He drove the "special edition" built by FORD - which today is available nationwide as the GT/CS.
