I looked at this yesterday and it is incredibly accurate so far. What do you guys think about the Almanac?

Yeah, it is usually and uncannily (is that a word?) accurate.

What a winter to have so many cities/towns/villages short on salt!

Yeah, I'm dissapointed too :)

Local weather folks here always over-estimate the snow fall. I think they would rather be wrong on the high side than for someone to be able to come back and say we didn't get ample warnings of a major storm.

Anyway, this time, they got the amount of moisture right, just not where the freezing line would be. Had it been cold enough, 1/2 to 1 inch of rain would have easily been 6 to 12 inches of snow.

^ Yeah what HE said!! I could NOT get up the ice covered, loaded with traffic hill tonight! I slid as best I could slightly sideways into a level shopping area....It could have been far worse...CRAP!!!!!!!! I HATE THIS
