Who's got there tree up?

Who's got their tree up already? I hope to have ours up this weekend. This will be 1st year in a VERY long time that I haven't had a real tree. I will miss the scent of a real tree but not all of those damn needles everywhere.

Fake tree since the year I needed to use a hand winch anchored to the staircase to pull a real tree through the front door (even removed the door from the hinges to gain a little more room). Just a little full.

We are living in an apartment while our new house is being built so I'm going to get a little 5' real tree tomorrow to put up. Now if I can just find all those dam light I packed in storage...:100:

7 large tupperware boxes of stuff came down the attic stairs and after the wife got done taking out what she wanted, 7 large tupperware boxes of stuff when back up 3/4 full.
Out of all the stuff we have for x-mas, we have a 3 foot tree,decorated light pole, garland front porch, 2 wreaths, a couple of bows, a village set, ceramic carolers,a nativity scene, and the tree has yet to be ordimented.
If it would be my decision, all those tupperware boxes would be in this summers garage sale and for x-mas decor, I would have been happy with the decorated light pole!
Maybe the Mustang on the lawn with a red bow...now that's a Merry Christmas!!!!! :023:

Four Plastic Trees are all up. House is decorated outside. Kids rooms are decorated. We are offically Holiday ready.

We always go nuts for the holidays but we jumped the gun real early this year when we decided to bring up the Xmas stuff when we took the Halloween stuff to the basement. We've been decorated for 3 weeks! Two full size trees and a four footer, plus we hang swags over all our doorways inside and decorate 4 of the trees outside. We want our kids to have fond memories of Christmas. It's a biatch but we think it's worth it. And yes, we even have a train under one of the trees too!

How fun...I remember when my Brother and I were little...Lionel Train set was up every year. we had a blast. I remember we had one set where the engine would smoke up the stack....I think there was a tablet or something we had to put in..then that broke I believe...can't remember. then we got the smaller gauge sets and had houses, train stations, gates that lit up..thanks guys, just brought a lot of memories back. : ) Now I'm going to email my brother.

My train isn't made by Lionel (MDH--IMO better quality) but it's the same size and it blows smoke (they now use liquid, not tablet) and makes woo woo noises! I think you need to buy one and invite your brother over for Christmas! :003:

My Brother <in San Diego> track races his Z06 which is no longer stock. Member of some exclusive track in Nevada. He has everything...so what on Earth do you get someone like this? Well I think I found something kinda cool. I ordered a gear shift wall hook set <knob and big H pattern or whatever you call a 6 speed pattern> in chrome..that should look pretty sweet for his garage.

Anyone able to share your gift experiences? Obviously don't post if someone you are buying for reads this..LOL But it's always good to share some good ideas.
